Female vocal, warm and breathy, intimate Taiwanese folk style. Half-sung half-spoken in verses, like singing to yourself in an empty room. No belting, no vocal tricks — pure, honest delivery.
Sparse arrangement: fingerpicked acoustic guitar in verses. Warm upright piano enters at the chorus with gentle add9/sus4 chord voicings, like a soft hug arriving exactly when needed. Soft strings on the final chorus. Light brush on snare, minimal bass. 80-90 BPM, warm and slightly raw production.
Structure: Verse 1 (guitar only, almost whispered) → Verse 2 (guitar + soft kick) → Chorus (piano enters, guitar soft strumming) → Bridge (piano solo interlude, sparse and contemplative) → Verse 3 (piano sustains, guitar returns to fingerpicking) → Chorus × 2 (piano thickens, strings enter on second chorus) → Outro (piano fades to single notes, spoken-sung to silence)
Mood: Nostalgic, tender, bittersweet but not sad. Like looking at old photos alone at night and smiling through tears.
